Wire-service willies
Ready for anything
A meaningful orientation
Eager to begin
“It’s going to be great”
A little less terrified
Nervous – and prepared
A career beginning
Eager to learn a new copy desk
A promise
Encouragement for a career in journalism

The Chipster family trumps all
In the shoes of another person of color
The Newseum tops his list
Communication and truth
Switching off autopilot
Not just lip service
Deconstructing conversation
The power of a question
A celebrity sighting at the Newseum
Lessons for journalism – and life
Thankful for the opportunity
