I came into the program knowing that I would get training in writing and multimedia. Of course, that is something I look forward to. However, the one thing I hope to gain during orientation is the confidence to walk into a newsroom and take on any story that's thrown at me. From what I've heard, the Chips Quinn program will give us more than just the basic skills we need to succeed. It will also teach us the attitude we need to make a life out of this business.
